Craig is an experienced business and regional development professional with more than 35 years’ experience in business advisory and strategy. Craig has broad experience in accounting, financial management, regional development, innovation, stakeholder engagement, project management, disaster recovery, skills and cluster development.

Craig has worked with the NSW Public Sector for 25 years beginning his journey as an Aboriginal Business Development Manager in 2001. He is a very experienced and innovative regional community & economic development leader with a strong track record of delivering outcomes and providing leadership in complex environments.

Having previously worked in the private sector and operating his own business, Craig draws on his accounting, finance and business management experience to help shape Government policy that better supports regional communities and businesses.

Craig’s experience has led him to support the establishment and growth of some well known major companies in Regional NSW, lead rapid response to the closure of large employers and the loss of significant local jobs, work alongside local government and the business community to support economic recovery from natural disasters, lead cross border projects on tourism, major sporting events and Covid-19 impacts and facilitate investment in enabling infrastructure that supported the development of regionally significant local government projects and private sector investment.

Craig is a proud Gamilaroi man with family ties across the NSW North-West and New England.
